To get started, you’ll need the dedicated Tuya Smart App on your smartphone. Follow these steps:

• Scan the QR code provided in your product’s user manual (this is the fastest way to access the app).
• Alternatively, search for “Tuya Smart” directly in the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
• Tap “Install” to download the app to your device.

Once the app is installed, you’ll need to set up an account to link your fireplace:

• Open the Tuya Smart on your phone.
• Tap “Sign Up” (if you’re a new user; existing users can tap “Log In”).
• Enter your mobile phone number, then create a secure password (we recommend a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
• Enter the verification code sent to your phone via SMS to confirm your account.
• After verifying, select “Add Device” and choose “Electric Fireplace” from the list of available devices.

Before connecting to the app, your fireplace needs to be in “pairing mode.” Here’s how to set it up:

• Plug your smart electric fireplace into a working power outlet.
• Make sure the fireplace’s main power switch is turned to “ON.”
• Locate the “Flame” button on the fireplace.
• Press and hold the “Flame” button for 10 seconds (do not release early).
• Release the button when you see “CCC” displayed on the fireplace’s control panel—this indicates the unit is ready to connect to WiFi.

Now it’s time to link your fireplace to your home WiFi network via the app:

• Return to the Tuya Smart app on your phone.
• The app will prompt you to enter your home WiFi network name (SSID) and password. Double-check these for accuracy—typos are a common connection issue!
• Tap “Confirm” to start the connection process.
• Wait 1–2 minutes for the app and fireplace to sync. You’ll see a “Connected Successfully” notification once the process is complete.
• After syncing, you’ll have full control over all fireplace functions (flame, heat, timer) directly from your phone.

If you move your fireplace to a new room or change your home WiFi network, you’ll need to re-establish the connection:

• Repeat Step 3 (put the fireplace into pairing mode by holding the Flame button until “CCC” appears).
• Repeat Step 4 (enter your new WiFi network name and password in the app).
• Your fireplace will now connect to the new network, and app control will be restored.
